Open Evenings

Borough Open Evenings
We hold annual Open Evenings to enable final year BEd students and PGCE students to visit schools, meet LA staff and get a flavour of the borough.

This gives students an opportunity to meet current NQTs, more experienced teachers, Heads and LA staff. Visiting a school will give you the opportunity to get a taste of teaching in Newham, and by talking to other teachers you will be able to better assess what working here might be like. The Open Evening is very popular. The dates and details are advertised on posters sent to universities.
